Welcome to our nursing college
The Maria Theresa College of Nursing is a Christian minority educational institution established, maintained and administered by the Maria Theresa Hospital Trust. Inspired by our motto, “Healing To The Sick Through Service With Love”, we offer active learning in a vibrant spiritual atmosphere, with well equipped infrastructure and top‐notch faculty. The College of Nursing with an annual in‐take of 50 students for B.Sc. Nursing was started in 2023.
The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and Indian Nursing Council.
Maria Theresa Hospital is the parent hospital of Maria Theresa College of Nursing. Maria Theresa Hospital was established in the year 1977 to perpetuate the healing mission with love and compassionate care. This is a NABH accredited 200 bedded multi-specialty hospital functioning under Maria Theresa Hospital Trust. This hospital is having all the facilities for the clinical training of BSc Nursing students and this hospital is not affiliated with any other nursing colleges.
Our faculty received more efficient training to develop a nursing student.
Our foundation is to focus students on training and skill development and provide them with a better future.

Indian Nursing Council
Indian Nursing Council is a national regulatory body for nurses and nurse education in India. It is an autonomous body under the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, constituted by the Central Government under section 3 of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 of Indian parliament.
Kerala University of Health Sciences
KUHS was established in 2010 through an ordinance and later Kerala University of Health Sciences Act, 2010. All branches of treatment came under the university and medical and para-medical colleges previously functioning under different Universities, like University of Kerala, Mahatma Gandhi University, Calicut University, Kannur University, Cochin University of Science and Technology, and Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, also came under this university.
Kerala Nursing and Midwifery Council
Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council is an autonomous body under the Government of Kerala, Health and Family Welfare Department and was constituted by Government of Kerala under the provisions of Nurses and Midwives Act 1953.
